16.11. The way back to Finland

Here I come...
Long way over Atlantic to Oslo, Norway.

The land view from the airplane's window with mixing of dark green and white felt like I was watching a movie... Suddenly after all these green and warm climates it felt a bit weird, but I just have to update my brains that soon it'll be Christmas! 😄

One flight more with smaller airplane and I was in Finland at Helsinki-Vantaa airport. I decided to go to my relatives nearby to settle down. I have travelled so long that I can easily continue couple days more 😁

Maija and Kirsi offered me a lovely dinner and tea before a shower and bed. I felt like home and they heard the whole story, thank you!

I love Finland! 💗

15.11. Los Angeles and Las Vegas airport

The moon was shining when the bus arrived to Los Angeles Union Station in the early morning. I washed my teeth and then I met Bernie, a Couchsurfer from Los Angeles. 😄

Bernie offered me a tea in the Starbucks and we went to see his workplace. The sun was rising when we took the train. Bernie have had tough times lately and I'm glad I got the chance to talk to him. Thank you Bernie!

Next I navigated to the airport and flew to Las Vegas. From there I have a 10 hours flight to Oslo, Norway. Just for changing the plane once more to come back home 😉

14.11. Towards Los Angeles

Ok, the last stage - returning back to Finland - has started. I booked a bus to Los Angeles. It takes around 8 hours so I'm traveling during the night.

I had also yin yoga with Patricia from Yogaia.com. I feel like home when I'm having a zen moment with Yogaia! 

Riitta took me to the beach to find couple stones to take with me. The ocean has truly endless amount of faces... today the weather was so foggy that the atmosphere was kind of mysterious. 

We had time to visit the art studio and Riitta wanted to give me one of her precious arts. Thank you, now I have a work of art in my backpack from a famous San Franciscan artist! Thanks 😄 

The sun set had almost eatable colors. I loved the color of peach. Talking about eating we had a chicken soop for dinner made by Riitta and it was so good I forgot to have a picture of it... Yamiiiii!

Thanks to Jan, he drove me to the bus station. This Boltbus has a free wi-fi which is great! It also has a bit bad suspension on the rear axel so the suspension's insulators are making a bad banging noise every now and then. I think my sleeping is not going to be so deep as I thought it would be. 🙉 But  I'm ok 😊

13.11. SF - The Open Doors of Art

The Grande Finale!

There was many kind of art in the open doors today. I saw many paintings made by acrylics, watercolors, textiles and photos, mosaic, ceramic, statues... one woman was dying silk with the local plants and metal pieces... I also chatted with the artists. How inspiring!

My cousin's husband Jan gave me a wonderful sight seeing around San Francisco. I saw the bridges and we drove down the curvy Lombard street, awsome! Also the moon was rising while the sun was setting and I just love the colors of nature 💖

In the evening Jan cooked us a marvellous dinner and I made a Tupperware micro chocolate cake for dessert 🍳🍪
