Before the trip
... oh gosh. The list is too long to think before making the trip. That's why I just fixed my things one by one. Here's something I had to do:
- plan the route
- apply the school aid
- book the flights
- book the first night in Osaka
- make sure the insurance
- cancel one month's aid for school trip
- make a passenger notification (http://www.suomi.fi/suomifi/suomi/asioi_verkossa/lomakkeet/tm_m1/)
- Couchsurfing.com - I have made contacts in Japan, USA...
- arrange my granny's things four weeks ahead
- choose a bag which fits as a hand luggage -> back pack
- find out if I need any adapters for electricity (yes; Japan & Fiji & USA)
- arrange my apartment for rent (more than four weeks, though)
- buy a new phone to take good photos (because I didn't want to buy another equipment to carry)
- install many apps to my phone (Watsapp, Line, Blogger...)
- make a list what I'll need to take with me (long list...)
- check the weathers to decide what to wear
- to have something to give as a present when needed
- find out the vaccinations
- settings to my mail that I'm all over the world
- water my orchids...
- buy snacks
- pack everything up!

I hope you got to the airport safely and made it on time to the airplane! It was really nice meeting you! I'm sure you'll make lots of new acquaintances!

I think it's funny I'm trying to type some english into this with Finnish language. I just sent you a little email because I really didn't realize it but that you are on your way on your big adventure. Thanks for letting us know what is happening with you. I hope that you are enjoying the trip so far. Hanna just have fun and enjoy yourself.
